It’s a mighty busy time here at the Great Barn Devon. We still have a full calendar of weddings right up to Christmas and added to that, we are also making big changes to the Great Barn offering coming very soon, giving the wedding party more space, more accommodation and more options to create bespoke celebrations before, during and after the big day. Around this time of year we look ahead at new trends and ideas that are set to dominate the wedding world. Today we are looking at the bride; here’s what some of the experts are suggesting will be big in 2020…

Embroidered detailing in gowns and veils is a beautiful and creative fashion trend for weddings next year.

Wedding jackets are too becoming more popular, whether it’s a delicate lace, relaxed denim or a painted leather, accessorising is BIG and the perfect way to add personality to a wedding ensemble.

There are lots of ways to accessorise the bridal look next year. From pastel hair colour to big skirts, from dramatic headbands to temporary (or permanent) tattoos. 2020 is definitely the year of the bespoke bride.
