We were lucky enough to be interviewed by Country Living for June’s edition, as part of their regular Kitchen Table Talent feature, which celebrates the home-grown entrepreneurs who have turned their hobbies into a thriving business.
Sarah and David were married at The Great Barn earlier this year. This lovely couple chose simple, but colourful accents to really bring their wedding theme together. Bright blue bridesmaids and cheery sunflowers, plus lots of fun and games in the garden before the wedding breakfast. Captured beautifully by Fiona Walsh.
We spoke to the lovely Katie & Chris about their recent wedding at The Great Barn Devon. With images courtesy of Justin Krause, we recommend you grab your favourite brew and take a load off for a few minutes, to digest this beauty.
Katie’s choice of wedding gown is inspired, unique and totally gorgeous!
When photos drop into our inbox, it makes us very, very happy!
And these are no exception. Florence and Richard were married here last month embraced by all their loved ones. The weather was spot on, the guests were beaming and that cake!!!
For companies and individuals, who love the peaceful, countryside setting of our wonderful barn, but are looking for something a little smaller, we also have The West Barn.
So that our brides can get married in the garden we are building a beautiful gazebo. We’ve used oak which has been cut from our woodland. The roof will be made from individual shingles from larch, sourced from a timber yard in the Teign Valley. Next step is to have it licensed and then we are good to go. The plan is for our brides to make their entrance through the little arched gate in our courtyard and walk the length of the lawn….on a fine summer’s day what could be more perfect!
A festive filled evening of mulled wine and mince pies, readings and congregational carols – all to get you in the Christmas spirit!
Just look at these wonderful images, courtesy of Martyn Norsworthy, of the classically styled wedding of Alex & Richard. We particularly love the moments snapped in our walled garden and at the back of the Barn. And the hints of blue in the floral displays and the bridesmaids, adds a real splash of summer.
