Here at The Great Barn, we know some truly unique and talented suppliers of all things weddingy. And Charlotte Atkinson is no exception. An award-winning, published artist and illustrator, Charlotte offers an incredibly personal gift if you are looking for something that will provide a lifelong memory of your wedding day.
Weddings are, of course, extremely personal and today’s is no exception. Because Neil, the groom, grew up very close to the couple’s chosen church, which he could see from his home, the couple knew that getting married somewhere with such personal meaning, was crucial to building new memories together.
Spring is definitely here, folks. There’s that familiar scent in the air, the hazy sunshine in the morning and the hint of wintery crispness still in the air that remind us it’s not quite shorts weather yet.
It’s time for another look at one of the couples that chose to marry here at The Great Barn. Chloe & Tom were married on the 11th July last year and as you can see from the wedding photographs, courtesy of the very clever Lucy Turnbull, the happy couple were surrounded by loving friends and family and took full advantage of our beautiful gardens for their celebrations.
Rachel & Nathan Buckingham celebrated their marriage to each other in the summer of 2015. They stayed from the Friday until the Sunday afternoon, having the whole venue exclusively, from start to finish. Rachel told us, “It was one of the best decisions we made, as it allowed us to have family and key people with us the night before the wedding.”

Faye and Dan Taylor were married last April, with their ceremony and reception being held in our beautiful Great Barn.
