The Great and the Good – Wonderful Wedding Inspiration from our Favourite Bridal Blogs
This picture says it all! Autumn is officially here at The Great Barn. Beautifully shot by Shooting Pixels, the wedding of Amy and Simon, filled us with joy. Rain definitely did not stop play and the clouds parted long enough to capture a truly lovely day. Amy wore a stunning strapless gown and accessorised it with a rich red wrap for when the chilly evening approached. And no autumn wedding is complete without pumpkins!!
And whilst you are dreaming of spicy, hot chocolate drinks, warm blankets and open fires (aren’t we all this time of year), take a few minutes to have a look at some of the other weddings that have melted our hearts this month.
Don’t forget, we have a gallery of our own where we share images of all our weddings and happy couples. If you would like to see your special day on our website, give us a shout or ask your photographer to send us some samples. We’d love to hear from you!
There’s so much to say about this wedding. The bridesmaids (how many would you pick and how do you choose?), the stunning floral arch, the carpet runners leading to the wedding ceremony, the array of candles….so much personality, style and inspiration! This wedding is full of personal touches, including handmade wedding rings. Holly and Tom got ready together and filled their special day with fun games and a photo booth (this trend is not going anywhere!). Images by Fear Photography, blogged by Boho Weddings
We love, love, love this bird theme. Delicately done and not a stuffed bird or caged one in sight. Just beautiful design, subtle styling and clever favours! Shot by Melissa Beattie, blogged by Whimsical Wonderland Wedding.
What more can you say? Sarah worked at a bakery, whilst Alasdair was homeless and looking for work. Sarah hired him on the spot and so their brilliant love story began. Informal long benches and trestles, in a big white, open space, filled with friends and loved ones. Perfect! Images by Matt + Jess, blogged by Bespoke Bride.
A Jewish wedding filled to the brim with a multitude of colours and textures and patterns. And yes, there are vegetables in the flower arrangements! And it works! Shot by Shanna Jones, blogged by Mr & Mrs Unique.
And let’s not forget all of these beauties too!

Until next month dearest readers… x
