This wonderful couple were married at The Great Barn Devon last month, ably assisted by their very handsome Wire Fox Terrier called Spike. Andrew gave us a quick run down of the day… “We couldn’t have wished for a better day, plenty of sunshine but just enough cloud to keep everyone cool. As you can imagine, the Medieval costumes were quite heavy and with too much sun we’d have been suffering.

And we are all for it at The Great Barn, with such a beautiful blank canvas to fill.
We’ve been sent some stunning images from beautiful bride Josie and her very dapper husband Mike, who were married with us at The Great Barn this year. Every single picture captures the magnificence of the day and all it’s cracking little details, including our wooden trestle tables and metal folding chairs, which the couple chose from our range of furniture available. We think they look fabulous!! Thanks also to Chris Scuffins for taking the photography on the day. Such a talent.
With our gazebo looking absolutely fantastic and eagerly waiting for its first outdoor wedding this year, we have put together an inspiration board on our Pinterest page, with some beautiful, simple and cost effective ways to decorate an outdoor space, ready for tying the knot.
Winter still has us in her frosty grip, but we are inspired by the beautiful, crisp sunshine that we are being treated to and that gives us lots of lovely ideas for spring weddings. We are so excited to see what our lovely couples will be doing for their weddings this upcoming season. Spring at the barn is such a wonderful time of year. New life is pinging up all over the garden and the days start to stretch out a little longer.
Neil & Graeme Knight-Gibbons were married on the 1st October 2016!
They chose to have their wedding in October because of their love for Autumn and the colours this season produces, which they incorporated into their day as much as possible. With no particular theme in mind, the couple just wanted everyone to have fun, enjoy themselves and be involved in the day as much as possible.
Faye and Dan Taylor were married last April, with their ceremony and reception being held in our beautiful Great Barn.
