Lighting Your Wedding Day
When you book your wedding ceremony/reception in a barn, it’s safe to say that you might expect it to be a bit darker than your usual venue.
Here at The Great Barn, Devon, from the outside our barn has all the charms and history of its 17th century birth date, but on the inside, the barn has been lovingly and sympathetically restored with a few 21st century additions; a state-of-the-art lighting system being one of them.
Lighting can give your wedding march real theatre. Change it for the breakfast so it’s light and sociable and then drop the lights to a wonderfully magical glow for your special first dance and the following knees-up! BTW our lovely John comes included to be on hand all day and evening and make sure that your lighting is exactly right at all times.
Why not add extra natural light to your ceremony with church candles in storm lanterns lining the aisle, or festoons of fairy lights draped across the ceiling or across an outside seating area. And finish with a toasty firepit, complete with marshmallows and hot chocolate whilst you watch the fireworks overhead.
