Great Barn Weddings – Claire & Tom

Whilst The Great Barn itself is the most obvious place to get married here at Higher Ashton, we always get a bit excited when our couples want to do something a little different.

Taking centre stage in our beautiful garden is the arbour, which was built last year using oak from our own woodland. It’s such an intimate setting and as you can see from these stunning photographs by Linda und David, the smiles on all the faces of the friends and family are unwavering and full of love for Claire & Tom.

Tom and his groomsmen (and woman) looked so handsome, the bridesmaids dreamy and floaty, and what can you say about a page boy in a kilt and a flower girl in oriental costume? And last, but by no means least, our beautiful and oh so calm and serene bride, Claire.

Hosting this wedding was an absolute pleasure, as they all are, but we came away from this one with such fond memories and jaw ache from smiling all day.
