Go West – Meetings and Events in The West Barn
The Great Barn, as the name suggests, is a very grand building with bags of character and incredible, state-of-the-art facilities. It’s the perfect backdrop for a celebration, a wedding, the launch of a brand new car, a theatre or music production, or an annual conference perhaps.
For companies and individuals, who love the peaceful, countryside setting of our wonderful barn, but are looking for something a little smaller, we also have The West Barn.
With its lime-washed beams, plastered walls and limestone floor, it retains much of its 16th century charm, but with a contemporary nod. At one end are some squidgy sofas, at the other bar stools and shelves, perfect for perching, with plenty of room for people to mingle, for you to create bespoke spaces within one room and for our staff to circulate without being intrusive.
Fantastic pendant lights hang throughout the length of the building, supplemented by spotlights hidden up high. Heating is supplied by a fan pumping hot air into the space, warming it up incredibly quickly and efficiently, using our eco-friendly biomass system.
It boasts the same facilities and cool, calm interior as The Great Barn and it sits just across the courtyard. It’s also just a few steps away from our beautiful, English country garden, perfect for Al fresco lunches and afternoon breaks.
We’re only a few miles from the buzz of Exeter city centre too.
