Around this time of year we look ahead at new trends and ideas that are set to dominate the wedding world. Today we are looking at the bride; here’s what some of the experts are suggesting will be big in 2020…
Autumn is a cracking time of year to get married, particularly within the grounds and gardens of our home. It’s a season that is sometimes overlooked but with the summers starting and finishing later (it seems) the weather can be delightful and the scenery spectacular.
This beaming couple is Hannah & Harry. They celebrated their wedding at The Great Barn Devon last October; a stunning time of year as the weather is usually crisp and dry and the garden is awash with rich autumn hues.
Today’s gorgeous couple are Bex & Katie. They were married at The Great Barn Devon back in the spring of 2018. These beautiful images are courtesy of Martha & George Photography. It was simply a magical weekend – the weather was kind, the barn and its grounds were bursting with new life and Bex & Katie looked absolutely stunning. We adore their choice of gowns with just a touch of glitz and all the glamour!
It’s only been a few weeks since the wedding of Rhiannon & Troy, but we love these photographs from Sarah Jayne Photography so much, we just had to share them as soon as we could.
It’s been a crazy start to wedding season this year and doesn’t show any signs of stopping until Christmas! And we have been so lucky to be able to host some of the most gorgeous couples, including Alice and Robbie who were married over the Easter weekend.
Bridesmaids were a soft pastel, floral delight and Richard looked very dapper in his blue three-piece complete with buttonhole. Of course it was Jessica who shone that weekend, along with the sun, and all the guests could sit back and enjoy the garden wedding underneath our arbour.
We particularly love the picture of Cat, respendent in her gown, looking off (to her new husband perhaps) and the shot of every single loved one who came to share their wonderful day, waving and laughing. It truly sums up a cracking weekend for us all at The Great Barn Devon.
