We’ve been sent some stunning images from beautiful bride Josie and her very dapper husband Mike, who were married with us at The Great Barn this year. Every single picture captures the magnificence of the day and all it’s cracking little details, including our wooden trestle tables and metal folding chairs, which the couple chose from our range of furniture available. The Great Barn Devon is a beautiful venue to get married in any time of the year. But autumn brings with it such decadence and rich beauty, as the leaves on the ivy turn to a deep red and the garden releases its hold on summer. With 120 acres of countryside to take advantage of, this truly is a stunning time to make memories.
With our gazebo looking absolutely fantastic and eagerly waiting for its first outdoor wedding this year, we have put together an inspiration board on our Pinterest page, with some beautiful, simple and cost effective ways to decorate an outdoor space, ready for tying the knot.
Winter still has us in her frosty grip, but we are inspired by the beautiful, crisp sunshine that we are being treated to and that gives us lots of lovely ideas for spring weddings. We are so excited to see what our lovely couples will be doing for their weddings this upcoming season. Spring at the barn is such a wonderful time of year. New life is pinging up all over the garden and the days start to stretch out a little longer.
Neil & Graeme Knight-Gibbons were married on the 1st October 2016!
They chose to have their wedding in October because of their love for Autumn and the colours this season produces, which they incorporated into their day as much as possible. With no particular theme in mind, the couple just wanted everyone to have fun, enjoy themselves and be involved in the day as much as possible.
Faye and Dan Taylor were married last April, with their ceremony and reception being held in our beautiful Great Barn.
